Primary purpose of the ( event is to adopt policy on statewide issues affectmg centive awards, contests and leadership training for high school vocational agnculture/agnbusiness students who are FFA members. He will coordinate the contact of potential FFA Foundation sponsors. “In 1980 the Foundation Sponsoring Committee raised well over $1 million,” agriculture and to elect association officers. Maher will discuss, “The Futures Market ' and Hedging.” He is also president of the Sioux City Gram and Feed Co., Sioux City, lA. Other conferences on marketing and farm business orgamzaton are also scheduled to take place Monday. Lu Achilles Wall, Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Hesston Cor poration, Hesston, Kansas, will assist Newlin as 1982 chairman-elect of the Sponsoring Committee Wall, Newlm and retiring chairman Roland M. Hen drickson, President of Pfizer Agricultural Division, New York, will make up the committee’s executive council. Newlm and Wall were elected during a dinner meeting of National FFA Foundation, Inc. Newlm then spoke at the convention session that honored FFA sponsors. Newlm received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy and master’s in crop production, both from lowa State University. His doctorate in plant breeding and genetics is from the University of Minnesota.
