training forum
LANCASTER - Twelve 4-
H adult leaders and three 4-
H Agents traveled to
Somerset County, New
Jersey on October 18 for a 4-
H leader training ex
perience.
Four-H leaders from the
Capital Region spent the day
exchanging program ideas
with some New Jersey 4-H
leaders.
The morning session in
cluded two workshops which
the leaders could select
from: field trip and resource
ideas for your 4-H club and
homemade peanut brittle.
The afternoon seminars
included a discuss. m on the
New Jersey 4-H Prep
program, a 4-H orientation
for 7,8 and 9 years olds; fund
raising ideas (including a
bread-bake-a-thon), and
some of their more recent
“success story” projects, 4-
H Bicycle Safety Program,
