James took junior champion honors with his Senior heifer calf, while Christine was awarded Reserve Junior Champion with her Junior Yearling. Christine also placed fust in two year old and three year old classes, and taking Senior and Reserve Senior and Grand and Reserve Grand Champion honors of the Ayrshire show home. Christine also placed first in produce of dam class. Constance BROWN SWISS SHOW Brown Swiss cattle came from Boyertown and were exhibited by Gary and Scott Hauseman and Bob Russell. Seventeen year old Scott walked away with all honors except Reserve Junior Champion which was won by his brother, Gary. Russell placed first m junior yearlings. Gary’s placmgs were as follows: Ist’s in bull calf, senior heifer calf, junior get-of-sire, dry cow, aged cow, and dam and daughter classes. He placed 2nd in senior yearling, three year old and dairy herd classes and 3rd m I ' "w ; * senior yearlings and two year olds. Scott Hauseman’s list of winnings .included: Ist’s in: Junior heifer, senior yearling, two year old, three year old, four year old, best three females, dairy herd, produce of dam and best udder classes. He was also 2nd m: junior yearling, two year old and dam and daughter classes. Scott’s list of champion honors included: Junior Champion; Senior and Reserve Senior Champion; and Grand and Reserve Grand Champion honors. GUERNSEY SHOW Kevin and Heidi Schlegel, Boyertown and Clayton Snyder, Oley exhibited Guernsey cattle during the fair. Heidi placed second in junior yearlings behind her brother, Kevin. Kevin was also first in intermediate calves, and took Junior and Reserve Junior Champion honors home. Clayton Snyder placed first in senior yearlings. Nedra captured Grand Champion and Senior Champion honors with an aged cow, Pinesedge Melody 11, and also was awarded Reserve Junior Champion. Wendy followed her older sister, being presented with Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion honors. Also competing in the show was Fred Yoder. Fred placed first in Dry cows - three to four years of age and aged dry cows, two year olds, and dairy herd classes. He was also second placed in dam and daughter class. , Pinesedge Farm was awarded blue ribbons in: junior, intermediate and senior heifer calf classes and senior get-of-sire as well. They were second in senior heifer, and senior get-of-sire, and third in fourth in best three females. Wendy Yoder had first placmgs in: junior yearlings, four year olds, and best three female classes, and took second position in: junior yearling, four year old, and dairy herd competition. Unbeatable Nedra cap tured blues for: junior and senior yearlings, three year olds, aged cows, produce of dam, and dam and daughter classes. She received blue ribbons for her entries in two year old, best three females and produce of dam classes. JUDGING In the adult division -of livestock judging, held Thursday evening Margerie ■ Z. '•& -y Penny Bicksler, 17, Richland, was Reserve Grand Champion of 4-H Show, with a four year old name Russelldale Astro Snuggles. Fisher, Douglasville, placed first, finishing above: Shirley Stncker, Bemville; Sinking Spring; Richard Remp, Sinking Spring; Wilson Hoffman, Fleetwood; and James Dietnch, Hamburg, respectively. In senior youth juding, the placuigs were as follows: 1- Henry Noss, Sinking Spring; 2-Darlene Dietrich, Ham burg; 3-Joe Crisafulli, Mohrsville; 4-Kim Noyes, Elverson; 5-Danile Adam, Hamburg; 6-Tom Horn berger, Birdsboro.
