November for their 97th
annual meeting, the
National Angus Show and
numerous other activities
scheduled in conjunction
with the North American
International Livestock

In addition, the agenda
includes several national
junior and auxiliary events.
Some 310 delegates from
47 states have been elected
to represent their home

Competition in the
National Angus Show
promises to be tough, as
breeders have entered some
300 bulls and heifers in hopes
of earning a national title.
The female show will get
under way at 8 a.m. Monday,
November 17, and bulls will
be paraded at 9 a.m. the next
day. Jake White, Panama,
Oklahoma, will make the
line ups.

meeting and luncheon, set
for noon November 17 at the
Exposition Center. An open
auxiliary meeting is set for 8
p.m. November 16 at the
Executive West Hotel. One
highlight of the Auxiliary’s
activities will be the
crowning of the 1961 national
Angus queen.
Junior events will include
a meeting of the directors of
the newly established
National Junior Angus
Association from noon to 6
p.m. November 16 at the
Aberdeen Room, Executive
West. Junior heifer show
competition will get started
at 9:30 a.m. the same day,
and Angus heifers will show
about 11 a.m.
