Eller, Jr. of Blacksburg, Virginia, selected the late junior yearling, the current
Maryland Junior champion, over the New Jersey champ by Barbara Ann Metch
of Remington and the Pennsylvania champ shown by Randall Becker, Dover. All
three were in the same class.

Brian Patz of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, exhibited the grand
champion female in the Junior Charolais Breeding Cattle Show. RCC Royal
Temptress 2905 was the first place heifer in her summer yearling class. She is
sired by HCR Expectation 269, out of RCC Royal Victoria 1604.

Lore City, Ohio. His spring
yearling entry was We Lady
Emilia.
Jeffrey A. Smith, also of
Lore City, captured the
junior champion female title
with JAS Miss Heidi.
In the Junior Angus Show,
Twila Doran of New Albany,
Ohio, showed Pride Parade
M 57L to the top spot, taking
champion heifer with her
—early summer yearling
heifer.
B V Pinkie Pride 49, an
April junior yearling heifer,
won tiie reserve champion
Angus heifer award for
Christine Shive of Seven
Valleys, York County.
Virginia entries
dominated the Junior
Shorthorn Show.
Brad Douthit of Orange,
Virginia, exhibited the
champion Shorthorn heifer,
a late spring yearling named
Windholme Magnolia 319.
Jay Douthit, also of Orange,
took the reserve Shorthorn
champion heifer with his
early spring yearling,
Windholme Frontine 239.
The best female owned
and bred by the exhibitor of
the Junior Shorthorn Show
was shown by David
McElhaney of Hookstown,
Beaver County.
Maryland and New Jersey
split 4he Junior Polled
Hereford championships.
Elizabeth Mullinix of
Woodbine, Maryland, topped
