Approximately 100 members were welcomed by President Guy Donaldson. ,s % After dinner they were entertained by one of their own members, Wayne Rodgers, accompanied by Cindy Wilson. Save Muzzy, Penn sylvania Farmers’ Association Regional Organization Director, from Carlisle addressed the group on agricultural productivity in Pennsylvania. Muzzy suggested the time has come that farmers should not produce all commodities in an over abundance but to produce those items needed in the marketplace. He continued by pointing out that to achieve this end, trusting and working together is a necessary component. Muzzy predicts the agriculture industry will have many challenges and opportunities for farmers in the decade of the ‘Bo’s. He challenged the group to become more involved, to grow in membership, to achieve strength to meet the opportunities of the forthcoming years.
