Delaware horse show winners announced

Annual State of Delaware 4-
H Horse' Show was held
September 21, at Red Gate
Farm, owned by Dr. Vf.L.
Mroz, near Dover. The Show
was open to active 4-H
members between the ages
of9andl9.
Championship in the
Western Pleasure Horse
division goes to Jennifer
Picard, of Dover. Ginger
Aikens, of Lewes, is reserve
champion. Champion in the
Western Pony division is
Lynn Krouse of Felton.
Reserve champion is Becky
Lacy, Bear.
In the EnglislTpieasure
Pony division, championship
goes to Robin Byrne, of
Aston, Pa. Janette Arm
strong, Wilmington, takes
the reserve' championship.

The Beatrice Campbell
Perpetual Trophy is
presented each year to the 4-
H youth who has ac
cumulated the most points in
both fitting and.showing and
horsemanship classes. This
yearns, winner is Ginger
Aliens.
All exhibitors were
required to prepare their
own animals for the fitting
and showmanship classes.
Their only assistance could
be in holding, leading, and
loading.
