Adam’s County’s Christine Gitt, R 2 Littlestown, led her three-year-old Holstein, Penn-Gate Jetstar Queen to a blue ribbon in her class before taking the Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand championships. Gitt also received recognition as Master Fitter and Showman. Steven Kauffman, R 1 Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, exhibited bis junior yearling, Penn Spring Milestone Ada and was tagged Junior Champion by Michelle Lusk, 12, of R 2, Charleroi, Washington County, captured the grand and senior championships in Jersey judging competition at the 25th Penn sylvania Junior Dairy Show with her 4-year-old cow, “Superbs Roasted Peanut.” Making the presentation are Pa. Secretary of Agriculture Penrose Hallowell; Stephanie Kocher, Pa. Jersey Queen and Judge John McKitrick. Judge Rinehart.
