York County DHIA
The top tally of 1043 pounds butterfat and 26,215 pounds
milk was produced in 305 days by Maryann, an 8 year old
Holstein owned by Smyser's Rich lawn, East Berlin Rd., York.
Second high was Jenny, a 6 year old Holstein who produced
923 pounds butterfat and 24,111 pounds milk in 302 days,
owned by R.R. Stewart, R 1 Airville
High herd was Smysers's Richlawn, E. Berlin Rd , with 70
Holstein cows producing 631 pounds milk and 220 pounds
butterfat. Second high was Lynn Wolf, R 1 Abbottstown with 46
Holstein cows producing 58.8 pounds milk and 2 00 pounds
butterfat.
