Patti was also selected Champion 4-H Showman and placed first in the Sr 4-H Fitting Class. In the Shropshire Breeding Class, Earl Wilkinson, Gettysburg, showed Champion and Reserve Champion Ewe. He was selected Champion 4-H Fitter and placed third in the Jr. 4-H Champion Class. Peter Bastien, Fairfield, placed second and third in the yearling ewe class. He placed third in both the Intermediate 4-H Fitting and Intermediate 4-H Showmanship Gass. In the Dorset Breeding Class, Patti Trimmer, East Berlin, showed Champion, Reserve Champion, and first place pair of breeding ewes. Patti Trimmer also showed Champion Comedale Breeding Ewe. In the Columbia Market Class, Paul Quanbeck, Fairfield, placed first with a pair. He also placed second and third in the individual market lamb class Paul placed second in the Jr 4-H Showmanship Class and fertilizer tanks Livestock manure is valuable. He also placed second in both the Sr 4-H Fitting and Sr 4-H Showmanship Classes. In the Dorset Market Class, Tom Dunchack, Littlestown, showed Champion individual market lamb. He was also selected Reserve Champion 4-H Showman and placed second Snack wins top award LANSDALE Lisa Roy, Royersford, a first-year 4- H’er was named Best in Class m Food and Nutrition projects at the Montgomery County 4-H Fair. Miss Roy, a member of the Trappe 4-H Gub, exhibited a snack tray set with an after school snack. Connie Horne, also from Royersford, and Christopher Roblee, Ambler, from the Upper Dublin 4-H Club, received “Clover award” ribbons for out standing exhibits in then foods and nutrition projects. Clover awards were presented to Jeanne Underland, Philadelphia, for Plum Jam and Marcia Slate, for Chocolate Cookies. An Open Foods category for 4-H alumni and parents was won by Rita Wojton, Trappe, with Braided Sesame Bread.
