position at the Keystone
Race Track in Bensalem
October 3,4 and 5 a fun show
for the entire family.

diversity and abundance of
Pennsylvania agriculture is
unmatched anywhere in the
United States,” said Penn
sylvania Secretary of
Agriculture Penrose
Hallowell.

production of mushrooms,
second in ice cream, third m
fresh eggs, fourth in
peaches, fifth in milk, fifth in
apples, and a whole lot more.
Visit die expo on Friday,
Oct. 3, Saturday, Oct. 4, or
Sunday, Oct. 5, and find out
why Pennsylvania is the
largest agricultural state m
the Northeast.”
The Foods Expo will
feature the largest farmers’
market m southeastern
Pennsylvania. Food shop

The Foods Expo will also
feature a number of exciting
contests, agricultural events
and food and farm
demonstrations. Free
musical entertainment will
be provided by blue grass,
ethnic and country bands.
There will also be a large
number of Pennsylvania
farm animals, and a baby
petting zoo plus hayndes fer
tile kids.
Also featured at the expo
will be the Pennsylvania
Department of Agriculture’s
agri-animals, costumed
characters representing
Pennsylvania farm com
modities, including
Eggatha, To-To Tomato,
King Arthur Apple, Pa
Spuds, Corny Com*»ii«n«
Lincoln club meets
The Lincoln Community 4-
H Club held its sixth meeting
of the year at the Ephrata
park recently. That evening
was family night covered
dish.
The pig round-up was held
at the Lancaster Stockyards
Marton the Milk Carton, and
the Mushroom Munphkm.
The agn-animals will greet
expo visitors and entertain
the young and young at
heart.
A large number of Penn
sylvania food processors will
be on hand to provide
samples of Pennsylvania’s
finest prepared foods.
Pennsylvania dairy prin
cesses and other farm
commodity queens will also
be at the expo with free
samples of their products for
expo visitors.
Admission and parking is
free. The Keystone Race
Track m Bensalem, just
outside of northeast
Philadelphia, can be
reached from Philadelphia
by taking the Roosevelt
Boulevard, Route 1, north to
Street Road, Route 132, and
proceed east one mile to the
