In the clothing category, Debbie Fagley of the Trappe 4-H Community Club was awarded Grand Champion Honors for her 2-piece jogging suit and coor dinating T-shirt and shorts outfit. Reserve Champion was awarded to Karen Bradshaw of North Wales, a member of the Towamencm 4-H Club. Karen constructed a 3-piece coordinated suit for fall. Clover awards were presented to the following, for an outstanding job: Julie Schultz (Trappe); Sharon Hoffman, Susan Hoffman, Jody Carney, Rachael Benner (Lansdale); Kim Bradshaw (North Wales); Natalie Peters, Michele Freed (Souderton); Priscilla Ohvero, Patty Moyer, Robin Rodrigo (Harleysville); Amy Gotlewski (Telford); Lisa Stutzman (Sch wenksville); Carol Yamall (GUbertsville); Christine Richter (Hatfield); Renee Lutz (Skippack) and Beth Caims (West Pomt). What’s a 4-H Fair without Arts & Crafts? Many types of crafts ranging from quilling and hooked rugs, to silk screening, weaving and ceramics were exhbited. A club display of King Tut ceramics was done by the Salford Community Club. A collection of hooked rugs new originally designed and created by a club North Penn Arts and Crafts Club was also a highlight of the exhibit and a fine example of what Ist year 4-H members can accomplish. Grand Champion in the Arts & Crafts category was awarded to Marcia Slater, of Perkiomenville, for her exceptional and unusual weaving techniques. Reserve Champion was awarded to Judi Hay of Souderton for her beautiful quilling project.
