Tioga County holds junior livestock sale Bank of Mansfield paid a record of $2.55 per pound for the 1980 Champion Market Hog, a 265-pound Duroc bred and owned by Stephanie Kocher of Mansfield. Cowanesque Valley Livestock Market, Knoxville purchased the Grand Champion Market Lamb, a Hampshire weighing 135 pounds, bred by Carolair Farms and owned by Judy Zerby of Knoxville for $3 per pound. Purchaser of the Reserve Champion Market Steer, a Hereford owned by Becky Painter of Elkland was Parthemer and Watkins, who will soon be opening a new dmry operation in the Mansfield area. Mr Par themer and Watkins paid $1 per pound for the 1035-pound steer. The Reserve Champion Market Lamb, a Dorset weighing 105 pounds owned by Brian Zerby sold for $1.50 per pound to Boom & Painter of Westfield, Pa.
