Montgomery
holds 4-H Fair
this week

“Hoofbeats through
History” will be part of the
opening ceremonies at the
annual Montgomery County
4-H Fair this week Wed
nesday through Saturday.
The fair will be held at the 4-
H Center, Snyder Road near
Lansdale.
The program will begin
7.15 p.m. Wednesday
evening and will feature
costumed riders showing the
horse m sport, war, work
and other related fields.
Thursday evening, the 4-H
Seeing Eye Puppies will be
featured at 7:30 p.m.
Other events Thursday
include a horse grooming
and showmanship contest,
sheep show, rabbit bowl
demonstration and 4-H
projects on display
An outdoor film festival
will start at dusk, Thursday,
participants are asked to
bring blankets or lawn
chairs.
Boys and girls are invited
to bring their favorite pet to
the pet parade on Friday
The show is scheduled to
start at 9:30 a.m. with
registration beginning at 9
a.m.
Friday evening, the Paso
Fmo horses will give an
exhibition from 7:30-8 p.m. It
will be preceded by a goat
milking contest at 6.30 p.m.,
a banner contest at 7 p.m
and a talent show at 8 p m.
will follow.
