and first placa z-year-old.
Grand Champion in the
Brown Swiss division went to
Gary Mase, Lebanon, in the
FFA Show and Patti
Heilinger, Newmanstown, in
the 4-H Show. Both of the
cows were also the Senior
Champions in their
respective shows.
Ken Arnold, Schaef
ferstown, and Thomas
Smith, Airville, took the
Grand Championships ir Jie
Guernsey competition for
FFA and 4-H respectively.
They were the Senior
Champions in their division
too.
And in the Jersey shows.
Sue Bomberger, AnnviUe,
and Marilyn Deaven,
Fredericksburg, exhibited
the Grand Champions for
4-H and FFA respectively
Bomberger’s entry,
Quicksilver VM Brandy, was
the Senior Champion in the 4-
H show, while Deaven’s
entry, Mar-De Allen Jessie,
was the Junior Champion.
The FFA chapter herds
awards went to Eastern
Lebanon County in the
colored breed competition,
with Annville-Cleona taking
first place in Holstems.
The 4-H Club Herd was
won by NoSoAnn.
