SUNNY YELLOW CAKE
2 cups white sugar
1 cup soft butter
4 eggs, separated
s /4 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup milk
Vz teaspoon lemon extract
3 cups sifted cake flour
2% teaspoons baking powder
Cream sugar, salt and butter thoroughly. Beat egg yolks
in creamed mixture, one at a time, until light and fluffy.
Add extracts. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add
parts of flour mixture and milk alternately to the creamed
mixture Blend well after each addition. Beat egg whites
until stiff, not dry. Gently fold the whites into the creamed
mixture Bake at 350° F for 35 minutes.

3 8-ounce packages cream cheese
% cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
24 vanilla wafers
Put a vanilla wafer m the bottom of each cupcake
paper. Mu the other four ingredients together. Fill the
papers Z A full. Bake at 350* F. for 15 minutes. Put on sour
cherry pie filling for topping. Makes 24 cupcakes
