A42—Lancaster Firmii miniature golf course was part of the dairy promotion at the York Mall display York Mall hosts dairy exhibit BY PATRICIA GREEK Staff Correspondent YORK The York County Dairy Association held a week long exhibit recently at the York Mall. The event was staged to help in the promotion of milk. The American Dairy Association provided a free “Milky Miniature Golf Course” for the children, which many played. Tina Neufeld, 1980 York County Dairy Princess was on hand, handing out Cheesabutter dip and recipes. She also helped the children that were playing miniature golf. Also attending the exhibit was the reigning Penn sylvania State Dairy Princess, Eileen Shull. Eileen is the 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shull. They have a family farm of 170 Registered Holstems in Bucks County Eileen plans to attend Messiah College upon completion of her reign in September. She will be studying music education. One of Eileen’s favorite recipes follows MUSICAL PIE cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces cup butter 1 cup chocolate flavored Rice Cnspies pints vanilla ice cream (softened) Vz ounce unsweetened chocolate, coarsely shredded Melt chocolate pieces and butter in top of a double boiler on very low heat Stir in cereal. Put in buttered 8” pie pan Chill. Put ice cream in crust and sprinkle with chocolate.
