Two new features of the
fair this year were the youth
sheep and steer shows.
Gwen Hower showed the
grand champion steer and
Tammy Wagner had the
champion lamb. David
Schultz had the reserve
champion steer and Dianne
Schuylkill County fashion revue held
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN -
Twenty-nine 4-H Clothing
members competed at the
North Schuylkill Vo-Tech
School in the 1980 Schuylkill
County Fashion Revue.
This year all entrants were
female for the first time m a
few years. Five clubs were
represented. They were the;
Nuremberg 4-H Club,
Weishample Cloverettes,
Lewistown Valley 4-H Club,
St. Clair Eager Beavers, and
the Auburn Cheerful
Workers.
There were two local
judges for the event, which
included judging the con
struction of the garment, fit
and style, along with the
girl’s poise and modeling
ability. The judges were
Marion Miller, Schuylkill
Haven, and Mary Beth

Cloverettes who made cotton
skirts; Dawn Spiece of
Nuremberg 4-H, who made a
skirt and vest; Sandy
Ludwig, Weishample
Cloverettes, a sundress; and
Karen Roberts of Lewistown
Valley 4-H, who made a skirt
and blouse.
