Farm life brought to
CAMP HILL Thanks to
a number of farmers and
farm organizations in
Cumberland County, a little
bit of farm Me went to the
Capital City Mall, Camp
Hill, July 17-19.
The farm animals seemed
to delight both young and
old. A special attraction was
a litter of 10-day old pigs and
sow provided by Strockland
Farms.
Another attraction was the
“Barnyard Friends” Exhibit
including six baby rabbits
exhibited by Michael
Dyarman, RDI, Ship
pensburg; three little pigs
displayed by Strockland
Farms, 735 Williams Grove
Rd., Mechanicsburg; ewe
and lamb provided by Ray
and Robert Holtry, RD6,
Carlisle; Holstein calf
exhibited by Berkheimer
Farms, RD2, Mechanic
sburg.
Hatching baby chicks
provided a unique treat for
the thousands who visited
the Mall last Thursday,
Friday and Saturday.
A pen of sheep provided by
Ray and Robert Holtry, Rfi,
Carlisle, was the special
attraction on Thursday. A
registered Holstein
exhibited by Huntsdale
Stock Farm, R 5, Carlisle,
was featured Friday and the
sow and litter Saturday
night.

shearing demonstration was
presented Saturday af
ternoon.
Many of the Pa. Dept, of
Agriculture's Agri-people
made their debut including
P.A. Spud; To-To Tomato;
Munckin Mushroom and
Corny Cornelius. Each of
these agri-people
represented the Pa.
Vegetable Industry.
