Manheim, completed the highest 305 day lactation Cotton
produced 22,362 pounds of milk, 1118 pounds of butterfat
with a 5 0 percent test
Second high lactation was completed by a Registered
Holstein cow owned by Emanuel S Smucker, Rl, Gap Starlte
produced 22,267 pounds of milk, 911 pounds of butterfat with
a 4 1 percent test in 305 days
The herd of Paul E Martin, Rl, Ephrata, had the highest
daily butterfat average This herd of 36 0 Registered Holstein
cows averaged 56 8 pounds of milk, 2 32 pounds of butterfat
with a 4 1 percent test
The herd of Ru Be Mar Farms, R 4, Ephrata, placed second
This herd of 27 0 Registered Holstein cows averaged 62 7
pounds of milk, 2 30 pounds of butterfat with a 3 7 per cent
test
