participated in photography and stitchery 4-H projects but does not live on a
farm, so feeding calves was new to her. One of the tours scheduled for the group
was a tour of Three Mile Island which Karin was looking forward to and Corinne
expressed uncertainty about-
Beth Christenson, 16, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin obviously enjoyed the dip at
the Farrington’s. She said it was her first exchange trip and that she and her
brother have 110 sheep at home. While in Lancaster County, the Farringtons
gave her some instruction in horseback riding. Beth noted that farms in
Wisconsin are slightly larger and that she was surprised she didn't see more
Amish in Lancaster County but she had not yet been on a tour of the Amish
Country.
