Mid-Atlantic delegates prepare for soybean meeting
SALISBURY, MD - Mid-
Atlantic Soybean
Association President
William Bradley of
Salisbury, Md is one of three
Mid-Atlantic state delegates
to the American Soybean
Association National Con
vention to be held August 1 to
5 m New Orleans, Louisiana.
Bradley will join over 2200
persons, including 159
delegates from 27 soybean
producing states, to par
ticipate in programs to aid
soybean growers in im
proving soybean profits and
to establish ASA operating
policy for the coming year
“This is an opportunity for
soybean growers to become
involved and voice their
opinion on issues that will
shape the future of the
soybean industry,” says
Bradley.
“The program this year is
designed to provide the kind
of information we soybean
producers need to operate in
these times of inflation and
low prices I am certain that
anyone who attends this
convention will not only have
the satisfaction of having
had an input into the policies
of our Association but will
also have a better view of
where our industry is headed
in the future ”

convention is open to all
soybean growers whether or
not they are members of the
soybean association

Soy Profit Sessions, five of
which will be conducted
simultaneously each hour.
The Soy Profit Sessions
are a unique, new feature of
the convention allowing
participants to tailor a
major part of the program to
their own needs and in
terests
Speakers at each session
will make presentations and
answer questions on a
variety of topics that in
cludes interpreting markets,
buying land and making it
pay, soybean outlook, estate
planning, using soy oil as
diesel fuel, what’s new in
farm chemicals and many
other timely subjects. Each
subject will be offered twice.
