The sale average was $45.45 for the 21 lots of 10 hogs each entered in the annual event Thi« price included the champion and reserve champion lots. The average price excluding the two top lots was 44 68, Championship honors went to the lot consigned by Cliff Charles, of Brook Manor Farm, Millersville. In the sale, the medium weight lot at 228 pounds brought 55.50. The lot was purchased by Hatfield. The reserve championship went to another medium ipi i 3 3 G 3 B 3 831 weight lot consigned by John Soltzfus, Narvon. At 223 pounds, the lot brought 50.00. The First place in the light weight class went to the lot of Titus Nolt, New Holland. Bidding stopped at 46.50 on the lot. In the heavyweight class, the first-place lot was consigned by Gary Westervelt, of Little Piggy Hill Farm, Watkins Glen, N. Y. Winning bid was 46.85, Jerry Clemons, of Hat field, served as judge. He nodded m favor of the Brook Manor Farm lot because of the animals’ better cutabikty.
