of 305 days or less Two of these cows produced over 900

and address, cow’s name, pounds milk and pounds butterfat

1980 National Junior Shor
thorn Heifer Show will be
held here July 12-15, at the
Riley County Fairgrounds,
according to Alan K. Sears,
Junior activities director for
the American Shorthorn
Association.
Sears said the over 300
entries expected from across
the United States will offer
an unprecedented quality
show on a national level for
any breed.

theme “Decade of Direc
tion” as the Shor
thorn/Polled Shorthorn
breed enters the 80’s. Cattle
exhibited m this show by
members of the American
Junior Shorthorn

Shorthorn show is slated

judging system will be used
in the placing of the classes
that begin at 8 a.m. on
