Pennsylvania Crop
Reporting Service.
The placements were eight
percent above the
corresponding week a year
earlier and 15 percent above
the previous week. Average
placements during the past
nine weeks were four per
cent above a year earlier.
Placements m the 21 key
poultry production states
were 83,139,000, one percent
above the previous week but
two percent below the same
week a year earlier.
Average placements during
the past nine weeks were two
percent below a year ago.
