4 Purina dealers receive honors
PARADISE - Hess Mills,
of Paradise, led a quartet of
Lancaster County dealer
ships honored by the Ralston
Purina Company.
Based on Purina product
sales and growth of sales
over thr previous year, Hess
Mills as named the top
dealer for 1979 in the com
pany’s network of 6,000
dealerships.
The mill received a
national President’s Award
for the sales honor.

national award presented in
the annual Chairman’s
Honor Council sales
program, according to Paul
I. Hann, District Sales
Manager for Ralston Purina.
“Having top dealerships
on both the regional and
national levels reflects the
dynamic growth of
agriculture in Lancaster
County,” Hann added.
Hess Mills received the
national award for recording
a 34 percent increase in sales
over 1978. First among its
Purina product sales was
egg mash, followed by dairy
and hog products.
