Take dry ingredients and mix with enough milk to make a smooth batter. Add egg yolks and beat until smooth. Add to boiling milk, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and add butter, raisins, and vanilla. Pour into baked pie crust and top with whipped cream or meringue when cold.
