weeks, I dug them up and
found they looked the same
as when I planted them-so, I
put in more white ones. Last
year I planted garden cress
which is similar m taste to
water cress. It can be cut
like leaf lettuce and it will

My garden is almost
planted competely full as
I’ve put in rows of four kinds
of lilies and gladiolas. I’m
anxious to see how the
gladiolas will bloom as I
exchanged dahlias with a
man who I met at a Flea
Market. When I purchased a
trivet, I learned that he lived
nearby and I remembered
his pretty gladiola border
and offered to exchange
some of my three bushels of
dahlia bulbs for his
gladiolas.
