The afternoon activities began with a feeder pig show, with nine exhibitors from Maryland and Penn sylvania showmg over 60 pigs. The show’s contestants were then auctioned off to the highest bidder. 4-H and FFA members who placed m the top three were given a discount on the purchase price of a feeder pig. Showing the champion pen of three feeder pigs was Daryl Sheiss, Cham bersburg, with his 48 pound average York X Duroc crossbreds. They sold for $215.
