LANCASTER The Western Regional Fitting and
Showing Workshop will be held by the PA Guernsey
Breeders and PA Holstein Associations Saturday, June 14.
Registration will be held at 9:30 a.m. and the morning's
activities start at 10:00 a.m.
Demonstrations by outstanding showmen and fitters
will be given. Among those giving demonstrations are.
Billie Heath, Gary Baiter, John E. Marchezak and Lee
Yost. Each participant will work with a calf under trained
supervision A chicken barbecue will be served at 6 p.m.
Families are invited.
At 7:30 p.m. a fitting and showmg contest will be held
and awards presented
Any youth who has a dairy project, regardless of breed
affiliation may participate.
Participants will need to bring their own lunch, drinks
will be provided Other helpful articles to bring include,
clippers, show halter and a change of clothing for the
show.
Judge for the show will be Dennis Wolff, Millville. For
