These courses are designed to certify state energy auditors to complete the energy audit forms as a first step for any facility which wants to participate in the institutional building grants program. It is open to local govern ments and schools from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, Snyder and York Counties. To be eligible for the grants program, these in stitutions must either have licensed architects and engineers complete an energy audit ‘building profile’ or participate in one of the regional workshops. A ‘building profile’ in dicates recommended operating and maintenance procedures for conserving energy m a particular structure. Completed profiles will be used to select those institutions which will receive 50 percent federal matching funds for com pleteing a detailed engineering analysis.
