This year’s contest will be held June 21 at the Farm and 4-H is 4-U is cover theme CLEMENTON - “4-H is 4- U”, the 1980 Yearbook theme, was chosen from 71 entries at the 4-H Yearbook Cover Design/Photo Contest held recently. Danielle Carrigan, 13, of Saddle Up 4-H Club, is the creator of the winning theme. “Danille’s theme will serve as the cover for our annual yearbook,” said Donna MacNeir, 4-H program associate. “The yearbook is distributed at the 4-H Fair in August.” Honorable mention Camden County 4-H youth learn pet care CLEMENTON —Boys and girls in Camden County can experience the joys of owning and caring for a small animal through the 4- H pet care project. Last year in New Jersey more than 23,000 youth participated in an animal care program. With pets, members are provided with materials that guide them m selecting and caring for their own pets, and with information on the background, habits and activities of cats, dogs, fish, birds, hamsters'and many other small animals. According to Barbara Stauffer, Lancaster County’s winner will receive a war drobe and will participate in the state training seminar in July. She will represent Lancaster County at the Dairy Princess contest in September. All contestants will receive valuable gifts and make lasting friend ships. Contestants will have the opportunity to promote the dairy industry during ac tivities of the contest.
