freshman received the Star

Stoltzfus, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harvey E. Stoltzfus, R 1
Morgantown, has been
chosen as president of the
Twin Valley FFA Chapter
'for the 1980-81 school year.
Scott Stoltzfus, son of Mr.
and Mrs. John W. Stoltzfus,
R 2 Elverson, has been
chosen as Ist vice-president.
Second vice-president is
Brett Strough, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Strough,
Mohnton.
Chapter Secretary will be
Sue Ford, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William Ford,
Honey Brook, while Jeff
Wolfe, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Wolfe, Honey Brook
was chosen as Chapter
Treasurer. Reporter for
1980-81 will be Diane Stoltz
fus, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Houck, R 2
Elverson, and Nelson Beam,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Omar
Beam, R 2 Elverson, was
elected chapter sentinel.

Philadelphia FFA presents awards
were Kim Gunther and
Shemtta Ridgely.
A special award was
presented by the Chapter to
John Carpenter. He was
recognized as the out
standing FFA member of the
year.
A recent Keystone Farmer
Degree recipient, Carpenter
served as this year’s
Chapter Chaplain. He was a
Chosen as Chaplain was
John Pamick, son of Mr. and
Mrs. James Parmck, Honey
Brook. Wade Bernard, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Bernard, R 2 Elverson, was
elected chapter historian.
Roger Stoltzfus, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph D. Stoltzfus,
was selected as junior ad
visor.
Newly elected officers will
be installed in May but will
work jointly with outgoing
officers until the end of this
school year.

Ed Hall, Chapter Advisor,
remarked he was grateful to
both Darcey and Yohn for
their help throughout the
year.
He thanked Darcey for his
advice on Polled Hereford
cattle, and for permitting the
FFA members to visit his
operation near Gettysburg.
Yohn, a swine herdman at
Norristown State, taught the
FFA members swine
management, including ear
notching and castration.
