to compete

National Pork Producers
Pork Cook-Out King Contest
just keeps growing and
growing says NPPC’s Lou
Lalko.
Twenty-three contestants
will be vying for the top spot
this year at San Antonio
from April 25-26.
The contest site will be just
across from the Alamo,
Lalko reports, and it’s a good
location to draw interest of
the large crowd expected to
attend the Fiesta Days
‘Battle of the Flowers’
parade April 25 in con
junction with San Antonio’s
‘Fiesta Days’ celebration.

Finals will be from noon to
4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April
26. A reception and awards
dinner will be held Saturday
evening. Contest
headquarters will be San
Antonio’s Le Mansion del
Rio.
