CRANBERRY SCOOP
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream m the bottom of each
glass. Fill the glass with cranberry juice. Stir until the ice
cream is slightly melted.
BANANA ORANGE DELIGHT
1 banana, broken up
% cup orange juice
% cup cold milk
1 cup orange sherbet
Put all the ingredients into a blender container and
blend on high speed until smooth and frothy. Turn blender
off and pour into glasses.

GRAPE FLOAT
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup grape juice
1 bottle or can of grape soda
Put a scoop of ice cream in each glass. Add % the grape
juice. Stir and fill with grape soda. Serves 2.
1 cup com puffs
1 cup Cheenos
1 cup pretzel sticks
Vfe cup shelled peanuts
3 tablespoons butter
Vt teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
dash of garlic and celery salt if desired
In a large baking pan, spread the cereal, peanuts and
pretzel sticks. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over
low heat. Add seasonings. Pour butter mixture over the
cereals. Bake 30 minutes in a 250° F. oven.
Wash and slice an apple. Spread each slice with peanut
butter. If desired, the apple can be stuck back together.
Serve.
EASY EGG SALAD
Peel a hard-cooked egg. In a bowl, mash the egg with a
fork. Add a teaspoon of mayonnaise and a dash of salt and
pepper. Spread between crackers and enjoy.
ICE CREAM SANDWICHES
Allow your favorite flavor of ice cream to soften
slightly. Spread it between 2 graham crackers. Don’t
forget to put the ice cream back in the freezer!
NUTTY BANANAS
For each person, peel one banana half-way Spread the
peeled end with a light coating of peanut butter. Dip m
crushed cereal or chopped peanuts
NO BAKE COOKIES
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup Captain Crunch cereal
Vz cup cookie crumbs (crushed chocolate cookies)
y* cup coconut
Mix all together with your hands and roll mto small
balls.

NEWARK, Del. - The
Draper-King Cole company

sponsor a $5OO agricultural
scholarship at the University
of Delaware to be awarded
to an incoming freshman
interested in majonng in
either animal husbandry,
soil or plant science.
In announcing the new
scholarship, Donald F.
Crossan, dean of the College
of Agriculture Sciences,
noted the importance of
agriculture as an industry m
Delaware. He expressed
appreciation to Harry Bonk,
president of Draper-King
Cole, Inc., for,his generous
support of the college’s
teaching program. “In
giving this scholarship,” he

Candidates for the
scholarship may be
nominated by their high
school principal, guidance
officer, or science teacher.

application is required.
Selection will be based on
overall academic merit and
achievement in science
courses. The scholarship is
restricted to Delaware
residents. Financial aid will
be a secondary con
sideration.
