WALKERSVILLE, Md -
Two Glade Valley Grange
youth from the WalkersviUe
area have been selected to
serve as the 1980 Maryland
State Grange Prince and
Princess
David Wiles and Faye
Zimmerman are both active
Grange members, serving
as co-youth chairman of
Glade Valley and both attend
WalkersviUe High School
The Prince and Princess
will represent Maryland
State Grange at banquets
and meetings during the
coming year and will
compete in the National
Competition at the 114th
Annual Session of the
National Grange in Cedar
Rapids, lowa in November
Faye is the 16 year old
daughter of Mr and Mrs J
• Trego Zimmerman and lives
on the family dairy farm on
Stauffer Road She has been
a member of Glade Valley
Grange for two years and is
a five year charter member
of the Glade Valley Junior
Grange
She was the first State
Junior Grange Princess She
has been a member of the
youth team and serves as
Lady Assistant Steward of
her Grange and holds that
office in the Ist and 2nd
Degree Team She has been
an active member of the
Pomona Grange Bowling
league and serves in the
Frederick County Rose Drill
Team Faye has served as
Pomona and State youth
officers
She is a Junior at
Walkersville High School
and has been active in
sports, having been on the
Varsity Hockey, basketball
and softball teams. She is
President of the school
chorus, a member of GAA,
Corresponding Secretary of
the Student Council, and a
