The President has also ordered Secretary of Agriculture Bergland to limit farm credit by raising farm credit rates and has threatened to veto an on-farm storage facility loan program because the interest rate is not high enough. Andersen said the American people better prepare themselves for a change m their diet because farmers will not be able to produce what they can’t af ford to plant or feed.
