Dairy Princess contest
YORK Milk producers
in York County are again
looking for a young lady to
represent their dairy in
dustry as the 1980-81 Dairy
Princess.
This year’s winner will be
selected during pageant
activities scheduled for
Saturday, June 14 at the 4-H
Center. Applications for
pageant participants are
now available from dairy
princess committee

farmer, a dairy farm
manager, herdsman or dairy

married, and cannot marry
during their reign. Parent or
guardian consent is
necessary and former local
winners are ineligible.
Local winners must attend
the dairy prmcess training
seminar, July 13-16, to
participate m the State
Pageant in September in
Harrisburg.
A promotional presen
tation or radio spot, between
one and three minutes m
length, is required to be
given by contestants during
the June prmcess pageant.

due by May 1.

Banquet was held at the
Franklin County Vo-Tech
School on Friday, March 21,
with more than 100 4-H
members, parents and
guests m attendance.
The covered-dish dinner
organized and served by the
Women’s Committee of the
Franklin County Farmers
Association concludes the 4-
H Tractor Club program,
which included 48 members.
Awards were presented to
the highest scoring members
in each of the three groups
by the respective project
leaders.
