at Waynesburg. The date has
been set for the Annual Fall
Sale to be held at
Waynesburg on Saturday,
Oct. 18.
The Pennsylvania Junior
Association announced it
will be holding a raffle again
this year to help defray the
expenses of the juniors at
tending the 1980 National
Junior Shorthorn Youth
Conference in Rochester,
Mn., June 13-15. First prize
will be a Frey Brothers
Blocking Chute, 2nd prize a
Goose Down Vest and 3rd
prize a Leather Show Halter.
The drawing will be held
the 1981 Penn
sylvania Farm Show in
Harrisburg. The Penn
sylvania delegates to the
1980 Youth Conference will
be Nadine Butler of Clinton
and Sheila Peoples, with
Jeanne Peoples serving as
alternate.

first draft horse and mule
sale was held at this year’s
Farm Machinery Ex
position. The sale was held
after the Thursday morning
show, also a first at the
Expo.
The high selling animal
consigned at the sale was a
Belgian filly, Julie Du
Marais. The young draft
horse was sold by Jacon L.
Kanagy, Belleville.
Julie, who is not quite a
year old will be travelling to

to the list of binders and
extenders approved for use
in meat and poultry
products, effective February
15.

nonspecific loaves (luncheon
loaf, honey loaf, etc.), soups,
