use of most forage crops.
The obscurity results from
the low income priority
farmers place on forage.
Since money comes from the
sale of milk or meat a cer
tain amount of difficulty
arises in attributing the
increased yield and quality
to fertilization
Farmers lack confidence
in fertilization as a means to
increased production. This
lack of fertilization results m
an under utilization of most
of the forage land in this
country producing only one
quarter of the potential yield
while proper management
could quadruple production,
Baylor said.
