Kerstetter of Richfield, Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania State Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Com mittee by Acting Secretary of Agriculture Dale Hathaway. The three member committee ad ministers Federal farm programs m Pennsylvania. Kerstetter has farmed in Snyder County for 49 years. He owns and manages 147 acres on which he produces wheat, oats, corn and grass. He has been a National Farmers Union member for 32 years. Kerstetter previously served as Deputy Secretary and as Secretary of Agriculture in Penn sylvania, where he was involved with marketing farm commodities, both m the United States and overseas. He also has helped start marketmg councils for all Pennsylvania farm products.
