If you’re in pigs or poultry,
the Friendly First has a
special 10an... just for you!
The Agricultural Loan Division of the First National Bank of
Strasburg knows that swine and poultry farmers have highly
specialized needs And it's always ready to provide the cash
to meet these needs whenever they arise
Why Because Bob Badger, the Ag Loan officer at the
Friendly First, understands farmers' unique and complex
money problems He will gladly sit down with you and work
out a special swine loan or poultry loan package, to cover the
cost of sow stalls, a new flock of chicks, a broiler house, a
carousel hog feeding system, transporting equipment
you name it 1
And best of all, he'll use the Friendly First's flexible
payment schedules to make sure you get a loan you can live
with comfortably
So when you need a loan, remember the Friendly First
the best friend a farmer could ask for 1

Pig feed
supplement licensed
SOMERVILLE, N.J. -
F.S. Services, Inc. of
Bloomington, 111., is the first
major feed company to be
licensed to include bam
bermycins in its swine
product line.
Stephen Bush, Swine
Product Manager of the
Feed Division of F.S. Ser
vices, said: “We’ve had
several customers ask us for
bambermycins as part of our
product line. It’s an ex
cellent finishing growth
promotant and it’s a clean
antibiotic because there are
no residues and no with
drawal period.”
“Our own tests showed
that bambermcyins gave the
most economical return as
• SMOOTHER .. Architectural
finish
• Easily Roller Painted
• FLEXIBLE... Made to your
Design
• SERVICE ... Complete,
Experienced and Professional
compared to other finishing
feed additive programs,” he
stated.
Bambermycins can be fed
to hogs right up to the day of
slaughter without a with
drawal period. An approved
FDIBOO is not required when
it <s used as the only drug in
complete rations.
Tests showed that, on the
average, this product will
save hog producers $600.00
for every 500 hogs fed from
75 pounds to market, ac
cording to the manufacturer.
Record-high acreage and
yields brought a 1979 U.S.
soybean crop of 2.2 billion
bushels, up 18 percent from
1978.
