Colleges last Friday signed
an agreement extending
their sponsorship of the

were 2,176,000, according to
the Crop Reporting Service.
The placements were eight
percent above the previous
week and four percent above

year earlier. Average
placements during the past
nine weeks were four per
cent above a year earlier.
