Beil’s adds
hay auction
YORK SPRINGS - This
Friday will mark the grand
opening of a new auction at
Beil’s Sales, located one mile
north of York Springs along
Rt. 15.
Dave Martin, auctioneer,
announced a new hay auc
tion will be held starting this
Friday and will continue
each week thereafter.
“We decided to have a hay
auction for the convenience
of the farmers in the Adams-
York County area,” noted
Martin. “With the high cost
of fuel and the amount of
man power needed to sell
and deliver the hay to other
markets, we feel this sale
will be an energy saver to
local farmers.”
Martin explained the hay
auction would start each
Friday at 1.30 p.m. Hay,
straw, ear com, wood, and
fodder will be auctioned off
each week
This sale will be prior to
the traditional horse auction
at Beil’s, held every Friday
