HARRISBURG - Groups
from all over the state
competed for ribbons in the
Folk and Square dance
competition at Farm Show.
Awards were made to
dancing teams, each of
which represented their
home county.
The Black Hawk High School, Beaver County. Wheel and Dealer's were
thrilled to be a part of the blue ribbon winners at the Folk Dance Contest.
The Maids and Braves dancers from Lawrence
County were among the blue ribbon winners at the
State Folk Dance Contest.
Folk and square dancers promenade
Awards were presented in
three age groups: Division
A, under 17 years of age;
Division B, between 15 and
25 years of age; and Division
C, the open contest.
