converting to the free stall
systems, according to Zook,
free stalls enable more
pounds of milk to be handled
per man hour.
Joseph Zook comes to
Agri-Inc. with a wealth of
dairy knowledge. He worked
on a 100 head dairy operation
in Mifflin County until 1968.
After leavmg the farm, he
continued to assist dairy
farmers through offering
equipment suggestions.
Two years ago, the Zook
family moved to Schaef
ferstown where they
currently reside. Zook does
not foresee moving closer to
Farmersville. He finds
Schaefferstown conveniently
located within a 100 mile
radius of Agri-Inc.’s
customers.
Presently, the dairy
division of Agn-Inc. is
working to update the
Oregon Dairy and Ted
Rhoad’s New Oxford
operations.
Joseph Zook is looking
forward to the upcoming
open houses and the op
portunity to meet area
farmers. Be sure to welcome
him to Agn-Inc. He is there
to serve you.
