enjoys swimming, jogging,
volleyball, football,
basketball, bowling, pain
ting and growing plants.
She is a member of her
church choir and volleyball
team. Gwen is also active in
Youth for Christ and is a
member of the Franklin
County Tractor Pullers
Association.
Gwen plans to attend Penn
State for a two-year course
m horticulture and even
tually work on a dairy farm.

William B Stoner, the 18
year old son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Stoner, St. Thomas,
Franklin County, has earned
the Keystone Degree.
As a May 1979 graduate of
James Buchanan Senior
High School, Bill has
recently jomed in a farming
partnership with his father
and uncle.
The 525 acre farm includes
a double six parlor dairy
operation and a 120 cow
herd.
As a member of the
Conococheaque FFA
Chapter, Bill’s projects
included swine breeding,
dairy calves, cows and field
corn. In 1978, he had the top
com yield m the
Conococheaque FFA
Chapter.
On the farming operation,
Bill is responsible for
breeding the herd by ar
tificial insemination
Since 1977, Bill has also
done a majority of the field
work and milked the cows.
