Games were played, and it was announced that the next meeting will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Holbein on Saturday, Jan. 26 atl;3op.m. Lancaster Co, Society 11 Lancaster County Farm Women Society 11 held then monthly meeting on December 27, at the home of Miss Mary Swarr, Mechanics Grove, with 18 members and one guest present. Roll call was answered by giving a greeting poem from a Christmas card. In the business meeting, reports were given and the following officers for 1980- 1981 were installed. President, Mrs. Dorothy Boas, Vice President, Mrs. Betty Brabson, Treasurer, Mrs Mary Trimble, Recording Secretary, Mrs. Margaret Swarr, Corresponding Secretary, Mrs Dorothy Huber. The new By-law books were distributed. Program included singing of Christmas Carols, readings by Mrs. Freeda Huber and gift exchange. The January meeting will be held on January 31, 1980 at the home of Mrs. Helen Shaub, 329 W. State St., Quarryville, Pa. Society 24 The Lancaster County Farm Women Society 24 met at the home of Mrs. Lea Snader, R 3 New Holland at noon on December 26. Secret sisters were revealed during the Christmas luncheon. Gifts were exchanged. Mrs. Ray Witmer, president, conducted a short business session m which committee reports were given and plans were finalized for traveling to the State Convention in Harrisburg on January 7 and 8. The January 30 meeting will be hosted by Mrs. Irene Naffsmger at which tune members will hear reports from the state convention and the Red Cross service project. Lebanon Co, Society 14 The Lebanon County Farm Women Society 14 recently held its annual Christmas dinner at the United Methodist Church, Camp belltown. Eight-four people attended, including mem bers, familes and friends The entertainment for the evening was provided by Paul Homick who gave an interesting puppet show. The first meeting of the new year will be held on January 15, 1980, home of Mrs. Jerry Yeager, R 1 Hershey. York Co. Society 9 DALLASTOWN - Society 9 of the York County Farm Women Society held their annual Christmas party and banquet on December 14 at the New Bndgeville Fire Hall. Sixty-two members and guests attended. Featured entertainment for the evening program was vocalist Clarence Gotwalt, accompanied by his wife. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 9 beginning at 7:30 pm. at the home of Mrs. Richard Anderson Sr., R 2 Dallastown.
