Three day receipts 11,800; compared 11,100 three days last week, and 15,000 like period a year ago. The fed cattle trade followed a rather erratic pat tern during the holdiay period. Prices bent downward on an expanded Monday supply, but the modest decline was more than recovered at midweek as carcass movement im proved substantially. Com modity buyers were fairly aggressive early for steers suitable for December delivery as futures prices allowed favorable hedging.
