Can Save You Money... Year After Year
I m a farmer not an accountant and I can t keep up with the
changes in tax laws My consultant can—and does—and he s
saved me a lot of money over the years In fact before I actually
signed up for the service he looked over one of my returns and
found an error The result was an IRS refund of close to a
thousand dollars
Lets You Know Where You Stand
I keep the books, says Dorothy Silsby and I like those monthly
computer printouts They show us where we stand how we stand
how we compare with the year before and indicate what adjust
ments are needed It s good to have a cor sultant who knows the
rules and regulations that affect farmers
On-Farm Help When You Need It
The One-Write check system (you make a carbon as you write
the check) is a big help in keeping records and cash-flow straight
And the consultant is here four times a year—oftener if needed

Consultant Understands Farm Tax Regulations
My consultant reviewed my tax returns from prior years and
found an error of three years ago that gave me a sizeable refund

Agway Consultant Helped Get a Loan
We recently expanded—doubled the herd size and rented more
land and if we hadn t had a Farm Resource Profile to show the
banker how we re doing we would never have gotten the loan
It s this kind of help that makes the Agway service really
worthwhile
Helpful in Setting-Up Partnership Agreement
We set up a working partnership agreement involving myself and
two sons and my Agway consultant was a great help in organizing
and finalizing it His clear explanation of such items as capital
accounts was most helpful

extra bonus was the $6 000 in tax refunds from overpayments
